Church Board
The monthly Council meeting was held March 15. All reports were read and approved. It was reported the church van was at Bernshausen’s for repair. Pastor Tom has met with David VanOrman to discuss plans for a mission trip to Albania. The Council was reminded of Holy Week services – April 1 Sand Ridge Community Church, and Good Friday service at the Spring Lake Missionary Church. There will be no communion on April 4 because of the full schedule that morning (Easter Sunday). April communion will be the second Sunday. The mower will be taken in for maintenance before the mowing season begins, and the wood in the church yard will be removed soon. A refrigerator has been ordered to replace the non-working one in the kitchen. The Council will pay $200 toward the cost with the Men’s Fellowship and Women’s Activity Group paying the rest. There will be an article in the local newspapers regarding our Easter Sunday service and specifically inviting the community to celebrate this Holy day with us and enjoy the mini-cantata the Chancel Choir will be presenting. The next scheduled monthly meeting will be Mon., April 19, at 7:00 p.m.
